Role

We're looking for a content marketing expert with an affinity for improving healthcare with technology to create engaging content for our key buyer personas: CFO and revenue cycle leaders, and clinical documentation (CDI) leaders.

You’re a proven expert at creating impactful content that guides people through the buying journey, showcases SMEs as industry thought leaders, and raises general brand awareness. You have a strong B2B healthcare background and a keen interest in AI, from experimenting with AI tools personally to keeping a pulse on AI news.

As a member of our high-performing marketing team, your work will be vital to scaling SmarterDx. You'll plan and execute the content roadmap, distribute assets to internal and external stakeholders, and be accountable for results. A self-starter driven by the impact of your work, you’ll report to our Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with SmarterDx buyers’ journeys to support the full range of campaign needs, including evergreen nurture campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), and sponsored content.
  • Conceive, research, write, edit, manage the review process, and distribute final assets to build a library of engaging and relevant content, including solution overviews, whitepapers, case studies, videos, articles, and social media posts. 
  • Optimize each piece of content for SEO to drive organic traffic and collaborate with the head of marketing and demand generation manager on sponsored content placements.
  • Take a consumer-oriented approach to content marketing, introducing new ideas, messages and mediums that command attention since they differ from status quo B2B healthcare content.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and voice across all content pieces and be a vocal champion for the SmarterDx brand and mission.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, sales, product, and customer success to align content with company initiatives and gather insights.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market insights, and competitive landscape to position the company as a thought leader within healthcare technology, particularly AI, revenue cycle management (RCM), and clinical documentation integrity (CDI).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, B2B marketing and/or healthcare marketing experience a plus
  • Proven track record of high-performing content within healthcare (1 previous editorial calendar or planning example and 3-5 samples of content required) 
  • Ideally familiar with writing about AI, and at a minimum, very comfortable translating complex technology and ideas for targeted audiences 
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools (e.g., GA4)
  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Figma) and project management tools (e.g., Asana) a plus

$100-120k base + equity
