About the role:
As QA Engineer you will work with acceptance testing, regression testing, test automation and overall providing the highest quality experience to users.
- Identify business requirements and work closely with the product owner, developers to find solutions, providing feedback and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
- Identify and agreed testing requirements/scope for API Hub for Design linked with other API Hub products, e.g. API Hub for Explorer, Portal, Contract Testing (PactFlow), Test.
- Provide feedback/input on the techniques, solutions and tools used throughout projects.
- Manual regression testing of integrated components for each production release.
- Write and maintain automated regression and new features tests.
- Exploratory testing of feature components beyond the scope of agreed acceptance tests.
- Take leadership in advocating test process within the scrum team and guide developers in testing best practices.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 3+ years’ experience in software testing/test automation.
- Experience in test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG and with source code management tools e.g. GitHub, SVN.
- Good documentation skills when using project management and test tools e.g. JIRA, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, Confluence or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (particularly agile) and testing principles.
- English on at least B2 level.
