Development Manager- Reflect

  • Provide technical direction and coaching for a full-stack team developing a market-leading end-to-end test automation platform driven by AI.
  • The team has a mix of junior and senior engineers with demonstrated ability to perform at a high level and deliver a quality product fast

About the role:
As an Engineering Manager you will promote a culture of collaboration and innovation leading to success. Your team will span multiple locations, including the U.S., and is expected to grow throughout the coming year. In this role, you are expected to:

  • Direct the technical work for a team of software engineers ranging from front-end to back-end, and junior to senior experience levels.
  • Take a proactive approach to improving the entire software development life-cycle.
  • Leverage Agile best practices to manage the delivery of software through continuous deployment, integration and test-driven development, including sprint planning, triaging of issues and assigning work based on experience and skills.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, building relationships to deliver on company goals.
  • Work effectively with product managers, engineers and leadership to grow your team and most effectively meet aggressive business outcomes.
  • Synthesize customer feedback and advise on technical designs for new features
  • Determine processes and metrics to ensure products are market ready.

We are looking for you if you have:

  • 5+ years managing software development scrum teams
  • Experience in a SaaS-based company with multi-site teams preferred
  • Software development experience and ability to coach others
  • Ability to turn high-level requirements into actionable plans with projected target dates
  • Outstanding proactive communication skills and English on at least a B2 level
