FullStack Engineer – SmartBear Platform Services
- This position will involve working on building SmartBear Platform capabilities
- You will build new features and helping to improve the efficiency and reliability of existing services
- You will be working with internal teams around the globe to build the next generation of interconnected SmartBear applications and services.

SmartBear Platform Services are a set of integrations, services and components that are common and enable our end users to benefit from the use of multiple SmartBear products which are seamlessly integrated.
About the role:
As a FullStack Engineer at SmartBear, you will be working with internal teams around the globe to build the next generation of interconnected SmartBear applications and services. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers, and UX folks to deliver meaningful centralized "Platform" services that are consumed by multiple product development teams.
- Contribute to evolve the architecture of the SmartBear Platform from a functional and operational point of view.
- Contribute to technical discussions and requirements analysis with internal partners to drive alignment with product needs.
- Drive high engineering standards by engaging in peer design and code reviews, refinement sessions, etc.
- Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, and product managers geographically spread across our different locations.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript, Java, Node.js, React.
- Experience building solutions on top of event streaming systems like Kafka, Active MQ, EventBridge, etc. (Event Driven Architecture).
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines driving automation and quality is a big plus.
- Experience in high-volume SaaS applications on AWS would be an advantage
- Proficient in synchronous and asynchronous API design.
- Preferably having knowledge in security engineering and OWASP
- English written and verbal communication skills on at least B2 level
