Account Executive – SmartBear APAC

The opportunity:

As Account Executive, you will be part of a growing, high performing sales team in Australia. Supported by an awesome marketing, solution engineering and product team you will help us achieve our Customer Acquisition and Revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a territory of Enterprise and / or Mid Market Accounts, predominately in ANZ, with the opportunity to expand into Asia
  • Smart Prospecting and Outreach leveraging marketing content, insights and webinars
  • Manage customer’s cross functional stakeholder (up to and including the C suite)
  • Strong business discovery skills, centered around Gap (and value based) selling
  • Build strong internal relationships with marketing, sales, sales development, solution engineering, product management and senior management
  • Lead and shape key deals, working closely with key SmartBear and customer stakeholders, incl. Executive sponsorship
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Must follow sales cadences and meet operational KPIs

Requirements:

  • Proven, high performing sales executive with 3-5 years+ success selling Enterprise and / or Mid-Market Software/SaaS
  • Demonstrable track record of success and progression in a Software sales environment: hunt new customers and nurture install-base to uncover growth opportunities
  • Strong Outbound and Prospecting skills, in a “digital dominant” work environment
  • Ability to lead and work well as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong organisational skills, high emotional intelligence and exceptional work ethic
  • Value Based Selling approach – experiences with Gap selling or similar sales methodologies
  • Experience selling Test Management/ Agile SDLC solutions desirable
