About the job:

Are you a Senior Data Analyst looking to guide and help a Unicorn company take Marketing & Sales decisions based on your analysis skills? Do you get excited by being in the front row of providing forecast and strategic decisions? If so, this role may be for you. This role focuses on two key areas of responsibilities:

  • Predicting Revenue and Margins, based on the current status of the business, and guiding the Sales, Marketing and other teams to make the most optimal decisions.
  • Support Sales team on what-if analyses before onboarding new customers and launching new products.

This role is highly visible, and is crucial for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. The role will evolve with time, and may need to support other business partners as the needs grow.  We are looking for a person with great problem solving skills, ability to ramp up quickly with an eagerness to learn new things. Qualified candidates should be able to unblock by ad-hoc analyses, while thinking about making the system more robust.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the changes that impact the business revenue and margin
  • Provide actionable results that the business can leverage to set strategic direction and make day-to-day decisions
  • Conceptualize and maintain key performance reports and dashboards through deep data analysis with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
  • Detect trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to department leaders allowing them to make informed data-driven decisions to drive the core business.
  • Work closely with business partners to identify and analyze practical solutions through existing or new business systems.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • 5-8 years of business focused analysis experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence focused role.
  • Strong SQL,Python, and Excel skills. Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Experience developing and maintaining reports in Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with tracking and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, Optimizely, and Tableau.
  • Comfortable with large data sets and interest in building data models for consumer behavior and business metrics.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of and curiosity to stay current on industry analytical trends.
