Skylo Technologies is hiring a NB-IOT MAC/Phy system engineer to join our product engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the Modem subsystem protocols and system flows. This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced RF Engineer to take end-to-end responsibility and work on a highly transformative new product.
Define NB-IOT modem system flows ( MAC and Phy ).
Collaborate with the RF system and embedded team on implementing the Modem system flows.
Collaborate with vendors on driving the execution of the modem subsystem.
Drive the mass-production optimization of the modem subsystem includes design for manufacturing
Specify system/software requirements for RF & antenna subsystem control.
5+ years of experience in building wireless communication systems products specifically in MAC and Phy system positions.
Very good understanding in NB-IOT specification.
Experience in defining MAC/ Phy system flows ( Data path optimization, Power management flows).
Deep NB-IOT specification understanding.
Excellent system understanding.
Was part of a team that built and shipped a product.
Previous experience in a NB-IOT SoC/ Product is preferred.
