Developer Advocate
About Skyflow:
We are Skyflow, a Silicon Valley startup that has built the world’s first data privacy vault delivered as an API. Our mission is to transform how businesses handle and protect their users’ financial, healthcare, and personal information — the data that powers our digital economy. Inspired by the zero trust data vaults that Apple and Netflix built to handle customer data, we've built a cloud-based vault that is available through a simple and elegant API. With Skyflow, developers can easily build best-of-breed data privacy, security and compliance directly into their applications, the same way they use Stripe, Twilio, or Okta.
Skyflow is based in Palo Alto California, with offices in Bangalore, India, and team members working from locations all around the world. Come join us!

You will play a central role in creating awareness and growing usage of Skyflow through conferences, workshops, webinars, content, and building amazing demos.
If you’re passionate about connecting with developers, solving problems with software, and have an enthusiasm for educating and sharing what you’ve learned with the world, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

- Create momentum and drive adoption through your interactions with developers and measure the results
- Champion Skyflow’s products in person and online by presenting at conferences, writing technical tutorials, publishing articles and videos
- Provide technical support to developers and work with cross-functional teams to improve the overall developer and client experience
- Engage directly with our developer community, and with both prospective and existing customers, to understand problems and translate your understanding into content and product improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong technical background and a creative, empathetic, and engaging personality
- Experience working in developer relations, developer advocacy, developer evangelism, or developer marketing
- Love of writing and content creation; have experience developing resources to support a developer platform (i.e., videos, podcasts, presentations, demos, sample code, tutorials, quickstarts, and API libraries)
- Passion for and experience with successfully building and engaging developer communities, both virtually and in-person
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across a variety of channels, including social media
- An eagerness to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced startup environment (startup experience preferred).
Bonus Points:
- Experience and familiarity in infrastructure, big data, data analytics, or databases
- Fintech or Healthcare experience
- Familiarity with data privacy and security
To Be Considered:
A great CV will get you an interview with several of our teammates. If that goes well, you’ll get a chance to do a sample project to show us your talent. A great sample project will get you the job.
At Skyflow, we believe that diverse teams are the strongest teams. We invite applicants of all genders, races, ethnicities, nationalities, ages, religions, sexual orientations, disability statuses, educational experiences, family situations, and socio-economic backgrounds.
