About the role:

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer to help build, maintain, and expand Skydio.com, its storefront, and future marketing sites. 

This is a product marketing focused position, and will involve dealing with shifting deadlines, strategizing and planning out sprints, and, of course, turning pictures into websites. You will be directly involved in planning out how to take this site to the next level. This will involve work with video, CSS animations, and 3d graphics. Also on our horizon are localization, personalization, and the further development of our online store.


How you'll make an impact:

  • Work with a Senior Developer, Head of Marketing Design, Designers and other Developers to create new content modules, pages, and evaluate and update existing pages and designs.
  • Help to evaluate new technology and new approaches to meeting our customers on the web as we expand and grow.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Strong portfolio.
  • Understanding of modular content management systems and their implementation.
  • Passion for creating clean layouts that work beautifully across devices.
  • Ability to accurately scope and estimate work.
  • Ability to solve problems with an eye toward company priorities and goals.

Also Nice to have:

  • Experience working with designers, product marketing managers and creative directors directly. 
  • Forethought to build components rather than pages; look for efficiencies and re-use of code.
  • Experience with online QA testing tools. 
  • Solid understanding of web design principles, layout, typography and information architecture.
  • E-commerce experience with Shopify.
