We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join our People team in Toronto, Canada, , here at Skilljar, through an Employer of Record!

Providing direct support to the Director of Talent Strategy & Operations (Head of Talent), this is the perfect opportunity for someone who's early in their Recruiting career and looking to learn. The Talent Acquisition Associate will get the opportunity to touch nearly every part of the hiring cycle, and will be asked to wear many different hats along the way. They'll connect with candidates, schedule interviews, coordinate travel, provide sourcing support, own ATS operations, create presentation and training decks, manage the candidate and new hire orientation experience, etc. So, we're searching for someone who is nimble, cool under pressure, and can find calm in the chaos.

Responsibilities: 

  • Interview Scheduling: Work directly with candidates to schedule any interview activity (ie - phone screens, video interviews, onsite/in-person interviews, debrief meetings, etc). Tools: Greenhouse, Gmail, Google Calendar. In addition, own all candidate travel coordination including flights, lodging, and ground transportation.
  • Recruiting Operations: Drive day-to-day operations activities for the Talent Acquisition tech stack, including creating/managing requisitions, creating/managing job postings, updating candidate profiles, configuring system settings, etc. Tools: Greenhouse, Textio, LinkedIn Recruiter, Confluence, etc.
  • Sourcing Support: As needed, support sourcing activity for open requisitions. Review resumes from direct applicants in Greenhouse, help to collect relevant referrals, create projects with passive candidate within LinkedIn Recruiter, participate in career fair events, etc.
  • Branding: Create and manage digital assets for overall branding strategy, including Glassdoor, Built In, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Candidate and New Hire Experience: Manage the overall experience by coordinating and scheduling all new hire orientation activities, maintaining the orientation materials, and requesting/reviewing survey feedback to make improvements.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting required. Experience in an agency (or in-house outbound) recruiting environment preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced technology company preferred, ideally in enterprise software and/or B2B SaaS.
  • The ability to handle complex scheduling requests, and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities while providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Experience with the following systems/tools preferred: G-Suite, Greenhouse, Textio, LinkedIn Recruiter, Slack
