Skilljar is seeking an experienced leader for our onsite Manager, Sales Development role! 

As a part of our team, you will spearhead the primary sales engine generating new customers at Skilljar. Partnering closely with the account executive team, demand gen/marketing, and other executives to increase efficiencies and improve SDR processes and systems, all while guiding a distinguished, cohesive, and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing motivation and direction for your team to achieve their meeting and pipeline goals across multiple customer segments and territories.
  • Using data to guide performance and drive productivity improvements
  • Partnering with Marketing and New and Existing Sales leaders to define integrated campaigns that drive qualified meetings/opportunities.
  • A creative writer who will own sequences, objection handling, and training cadence
  • Collaborating to define comp plans and incentive programs that get results.
  • Establishing metrics and helping the team improve by understanding their performance daily.
  • Partnering with Revenue Operations to coordinate usage of team systems including HubSpot, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more.
  • An experienced understanding of building lists, cultivating contacts and nurturing long term relationships and
  • Helping build a fun, high-energy environment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or necessary for the business.

Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to work onsite/in office.
  • 2+ years leading Sales Development teams
  • Successfully demonstrate key funnel metrics to improve and accelerate team performance.
  • Track record of ramping sales reps over time in a systematic way - development of a training program focused on product, process & selling skills.
  • Experience selling into mid-market B2B companies is strongly preferred (5 or 6-digit annual contracts, consultative solution selling through customer committees).
  • Excellent understanding of inbound & outbound prospecting technologies, tools, and managed services vendors.
  • An ability to interact with all levels of management and multiple departments including sales, marketing, product marketing, enablement, revenue operations and finance.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and change - high growth startup experience strongly preferred.
  • Superb verbal and written communication.

At Skilljar, we strive for salary range transparency in our hiring process. This is a major step towards not only complying with state and local regulations where required, but also to make sure Skilljar is putting pay equity and DEIB top of mind during the hiring process. Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a new hire equity grant in the form of stock options, and a sales commission. Below is the base salary for this role:

Salt Lake City/Valley, Utah: $99,800 - $129,600
