Position Overview:

As an Senior AI Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating AI and machine learning into our infrastructure and operations processes. You will work closely with the Infrastructure, DevOps, and Data Science teams to design, develop, and implement AI-driven automation and monitoring solutions. Your efforts will help us proactively address operational challenges, reduce downtime, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • AI-Powered Incident Management: Leverage AI/ML models to detect anomalies in real time, perform root cause analysis, and accelerate incident resolution by predicting and preempting issues before they impact services.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Implement machine learning algorithms to forecast system and hardware failures, ensuring infrastructure remains resilient and reducing downtime through proactive interventions.
  • End-to-End Automation: Design, build, and maintain AI-driven automation pipelines that enhance workflows across monitoring, alerting, and remediation, reducing the need for manual intervention in repetitive tasks.
  • Intelligent Resource Optimization: Utilize AI to analyze system usage patterns and make real-time decisions about resource allocation (compute, storage, and network), optimizing performance and cost-efficiency across the infrastructure.
  • Self-Healing Infrastructure: Develop and implement systems that automatically detect and correct issues (self-healing) in cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure, using AI to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Dynamic Anomaly Detection: Build and refine models that dynamically learn from evolving system behavior to detect deviations and potential threats, alerting teams to issues before they escalate.
  • Enhanced Monitoring & Observability: Integrate AI-driven analytics into existing monitoring platforms to provide deeper insights into system performance, and create dashboards with predictive metrics for real-time decision-making.
  • Collaborative Operations: Work closely with DevOps, SRE, and Data Science teams to implement AIOps solutions within the existing CI/CD frameworks and toolchains, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing MTTR (mean time to resolution).
  • Continuous Learning and Optimization: Regularly evaluate and improve AI/ML models based on operational feedback, ensuring that the AI systems adapt to new patterns, workloads, and system architectures as they evolve.
  • Incident Post-Mortem Analysis: Automate the collection of data for incident post-mortem reports, leveraging AI to extract insights on incident trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles with experience in automation and monitoring.
  • Proven experience in applying AI/ML techniques to operational problems.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience in database environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in developing automation scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, and experience integrating AI for predictive analytics.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating AI-driven insights into these processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in AI/ML, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), or DevOps.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with AIOps platforms (e.g., Moogsoft, Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Experience in building or maintaining a self-healing infrastructure.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
