Content Writer / Strategist
Who you are:
- As a Content Writer, you love helping to create meaning and understanding through your writing.
- You have a passion for communication and thrive in the digital age. You are interested in improving the customer experience of implementing and using the Simpplr application through engaging and focused documentation.
- You will support Simpplr customers with accessible content that simplifies the implementation and user experience process and provides customers with the ability to self-serve.
- You’re curious, driven and excited. You can deliver on tight schedules, teach yourself new products and workflows when given the appropriate materials, and are used to working alone or with a small team to complete tasks.

Your Job Responsibilities:
This is what your day-to-day would look like:
- Develop extensive product knowledge through using the software and comprehending existing documentation
- Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including How-to Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In-platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.)
- Support the Simpplr Training and Content Manager in developing new training material for theLMS and delivery of micro-learning and video modules
- Prioritize content needs with Simpplr Customer Success and Product teams
- Manage content library and version control
- Develop scripts and work with the Training and Content manager to integrate those scripts into modules
- Work across the Customer Success team to compile best practice data, learnings that have not been documented and draft content deliverables for review and approval
- Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability
Your Skill Set:
- What you did in the past that makes you a great fit for our team:
- 5+ years of experience creating customer facing deliverables
- Strong editorial skills
- BA/BS in technical communication or a related discipline or at least five years of experience writing complex documentation for web-based software
- Experience in writing feature/functional documentation
- Expertise in content/learning development tools (Google Suite, Zendesk, Adobe, Rise/Articulate 360, etc.)
- Experience creating scripts for digital training
- Strong management skills to plan, write, edit and publish content
- A learning mentality and willingness to take on challenges
- Experience as part of a SaaS Customer Success Team
- Good research, organizational, and learning skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in working with SaaS products
- Ability to translate limited technical information into simple terms
- Worked previously with a learning and development team
- Experience with intranet platforms like Simpplr

This model is role-based with exceptions and provides employees with the flexibility that many have told us they want.
- Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
- Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis.
- Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
