The Opportunity

Simpplr is looking for an experienced data-driven Demand Gen Director, reporting to Simpplr’s VP of Growth Marketing & Development, with a passion for developing, managing, and executing world-class programs and events to expand our voice in the market, drive pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle in North America. This is both an individual contributor role who will take the lead on some programs and a people manager role who will lead a team of field and marketing program managers in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.  You will be joining a fast-paced, metrics driven marketing organization with aggressive growth goals.

Your Job Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

  • Develop marketing plans and execute against MQL and opportunity goals 
  • Understand Simpplr personas and build go-to-market strategies and corporate campaign initiatives that articulate our value proposition and drive best-in-class demand gen programs and events
  • Develop messaging, headlines and abstracts that appeal to Simpplr target personas 
  • Guide and project manage internal subject matter experts in the development of webinar, online and physical event presentations
  • Lead creative process in developing amazing event experiences that drive pipeline and lasting and positive  impressions on customers and prospects
  • Project manage logistical aspects of physical and online events
  • Project manage strategic marketing initiatives and collaborate with other marketing functions
  • Monitor, track, and report success metrics of all programs, communicating results to sales and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate to get best ROI for Simpplr
  • Communicate and collaborate with field sales and sdr organizations for program priorities and pre and post outreach
  • Work with partners to develop campaigns to reach mutual pipeline and demand generation goals

Demonstrated experience we are looking for:

  • Proven success managing and executing multi-channel demand generation programs and events
  • 8+ years of demand generation experience contributing to pipeline and deal acceleration with a B2B Enterprise sales team of 5 or more reps
  • 4+ years of a managing a team
  • 2+ years of managing events (both tradeshows and field marketing)
  • 2+ years of field marketing and working directly with sales teams
  • 3+ years of experience executing on webinars, direct mail, content syndication and more
  • 1+ years of experience in channel marketing or working with partners
  • A deep understanding of demand generation performance metrics, lead progression and conversions from early TOF marketing stages, through the end of the sales cycle and into customer advocacy
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills who can identify trends and insights to support deal acceleration
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing funnel, lead progression and conversions from early Top of Funnel (TOF) marketing stages thru the end of the sales cycle and into customer advocacy
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation and capable of developing robust email nurture streams to support your region
  • A team player with strong cross-functional project management skills
  • A positive attitude and a passion for building pipeline

Preferred skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • BS degree required
  • Familiarity with a range of marketing automation and analytics tools
  • Salesforce experience required
  • Marketo and 6sense experience desired
  • Experience marketing SaaS products to the enterprise required

 

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $155,000 - $235,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

This model is role-based with exceptions and provides employees with the flexibility that many have told us they want.

  • Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
  • Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis. 
  • Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
