Our new Account Management team is growing, and we’re searching an experienced Manager of AM to help us scale this vital part of our business. We have the basics down, but you should be ready to bring it to the next level with proven success in creating processes for customer onboarding, retention, upselling, contract renewals, and more. You should also be experienced in interviewing, training, and performance development as these will all be important facets of the role. While customer health and retention is the primary focus, Account Managers are considered sales reps with revenue quotas, so a Manager with a background and success in Sales is important.
Manage a team of Account Managers with individual revenue quotas
Train new Account Managers on process and new product lines
Contribute to the recruiting process and take primary responsibility for interviewing, hiring, and internally promoting to scale the team
Improve customer health and product engagement
Coach, develop, and improve the performance of Account Managers on your team
Track and report metrics and KPI to Director of Customer Success
Collaborate cross-functionally with other team leaders within the Sales, Product, Marketing, and Strategy departments.
Iterate and refine existing processes to maximize account retention, upsell opportunity, and overally process efficiency
1-3 years of management experience
3+ years of SaaS Account Management experience
at least 1 year of experience in SMB (non-enterprise) Account Management
