As a Solution Design Manager (Tokyo based) you will hold a very exciting and multi-disciplinary role being the one to build up our B2B business in Japan in terms of the solution design. You are going to integrate our existing cross selling model into the unique Japanese market.

You’ll support our sales managers to provide the best solutions for our clients, take care of the technical project management and strongly cooperate with our headquarters (Berlin based) PMO, Integration and Product teams.

You are not afraid of taking responsibilities and keeping a tight schedule. You have the necessary drive to manage all stakeholders involved.

What you should bring:
  • You will be one of our pioneers for the launch in Japan 
  • You will be the main contact person for our Japanese project partners in all matters regarding the technical aspects 
  • You will gather, define and clarify technical requirements and scope with clients and partners in Japan
  • You will coordinate client projects with our internal, English speaking departments in Germany, and lead the project in Japan with all stakeholders
  • You will manage the integration of our products (e.g. Plugins, API’s) in the testing-, QA- and live-environment of our partners
  • You are responsible for the technical support of our partners before, during and after the integration of our solutions
  • You bring the experience of being in a similar position for at least 3 years
  • You are experienced and well versed in the communication and coordination as well as complex project management involving internal/external stakeholders at all levels in cross cultural settings
  • You have a good understanding of web technologies and process flows
  • You have a process-oriented and structured way of working as well as the affinity to work on solutions
  • You have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to read & understand simple code. Ability to program & debug would be a plus
  • Experience with the most commonly used tools such as Jira, Confluence, Draw.io
  • You possess a native level in Japanese and proven knowledge of the Japanese culture and you are business fluent in English
  • You are flexible to travel on a regular basis
