We are looking for a Director of Global Facilities that will report to the VP of Employee Experience & Operations 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven Director of Global Facilities to be part of a fast-growing and fun global tech company. The Director of Facilities will be working from the Tel Aviv office. 

responsible for the day-to-day operations, paying special attention to the premises on which the business is located.

What does a day to day of Director of Global Facilities in SimilarWeb looks like:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of global facilities operations across 10 company offices, including building maintenance, infrastructure, space planning, and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement global facilities strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Oversee the Real Estate Portfolio, including lease renewals, negotiations, and space utilization strategies to align with business growth and optimize costs.
  • Direct the Project Planning, design, and execution of office relocations and renovations, ensuring efficient transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the HQ office, including oversight of building services, reception services, and operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee Internal Catering Operations at the HQ, including budget management, food safety standards, and vendor relations.
  • Manage a team of 4 employees locally and oversee the facilities responsibilities for 8 employees globally in a matrix structure, ensuring alignment and collaboration across regions.
  • Collaborate with Business and HR site leaders and other stakeholders to deliver an excellent Workplace Experience 
  • Manage global facilities budgets, balancing cost control with the delivery of high-quality services across all locations.
  • Establish standardized processes and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Develop and enforce global safety, health, and security standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and response planning to ensure the organization is equipped to manage crises effectively, protecting employees and assets.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, including leadership roles in global high-tech or global companies.
  • Proven success in managing office relocations, renovations, and space planning projects from planning to execution.
  • Strong track record in budget management, including forecasting, cost control, and financial oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners like landlords and contractors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges proactively and develop practical, effective solutions.
  • Results-driven and skilled in managing multiple projects under deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Knowledge of facilities best practices, real estate leasing, safety standards, and sustainability principles.
  • Experience working closely with executives to align facilities strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless communication.

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in facilities management or real estate are a plus. Internal design skills or experience is an advantage.
