We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Operations Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will support procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient purchasing practices. You will play a key role in optimizing procurement operations, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of sourcing and supplier management.

About the team:

Our Procurement team is aiming to implement a full purchase-to-pay process while bringing the best market practice for Similarweb requirements. 

The team holds strong relationships with our stakeholders, source, negotiate, and monitor the company spend  along with building an agile workflow

In order to bring the best market practice and implement the workflow that will lead to savings and cost reduction 

You will be part of the new procurement leaders in the organization and will be responsible for the commercial terms, vendor management, and the sourcing of main fields of Similarweb. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Management: Process and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier information, pricing, order tracking, and payment status.
  • Supplier Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers for operational needs, managing relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring supplier compliance with company standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement activities, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Contract Support: Assist in reviewing and managing supplier contracts, ensuring terms are adhered to and risks are minimized.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, MIS, R&D, and other departments to align procurement processes with overall business goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions to meet business and procurement needs.
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Procurement and ERP Systems.
