We are looking for a Team Manager, Inside Sales (GCR) to join and lead our Greater China team!

 

Why is this role so important at Similarweb?

This is a leadership position to set the direction and provide support to the Inside Sales Team Individual Contributors. You will be responsible for strategic deal structuring, accurate deal forecasting, participation in client interactions, and working to upskill and improve the Sales Team’s conversions.

 

So, what will you be doing all day?

  • As a Team Manager, Inside Sales you will lead an experienced team of new business professionals selling to SMB and Enterprise clients in Greater China
  • Be responsible for managing, optimizing and scaling Similarweb’s world-class Sales Team in Singapore as we look to scale our new business motion focused on Greater China.
  • Plan the sales penetration strategy for defined markets, identify human resource needs to implement strategy and increase the company reach.
  • Use knowledge of Market Intelligence to effectively articulate our value proposition and benefits to prospects and clients across the Greater China region.
  • Hiring, training, coaching and supervising a team of Sales Managers, empowering and enabling them to achieve their respective sales targets.
  • Provide the appropriate infrastructure and resources to develop, track and grow the required expertise of each member of the organization - enabling career development amongst our reps is a key facet of the role
  • Expected to exceed revenue and retention goals through efficient management of the full sales process and world class execution across the entire funnel
  • Effective reporting and forecasting of existing business and new business 
  • Development of and contribution to the Greater China long term strategic plan.

 

This is the perfect job for someone with:

  • 8+ years of total work experience 
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Commercial Leader or Team Manager with a strong track record in building and running successful teams/business units focused on the Greater China Region
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (business level) to service customers in the Greater China Region
  • Experienced in SaaS Sales
  • Experienced and successful in developing and implementing end-to-end strategic business plans on a regional level
  • Salesforce proficiency
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing space with experience in market Intelligence
  • Solid interviewing skills with experience in hiring and ramping new sales representatives and account managers
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead and motivate multiple teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven history of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients at a senior level
