- The focus will be on developing a new Transmit Beamforming Architecture.
- Review existing material related to Transmit Beamforming in MIMO OFDM systems.
- Review literature on Codebook based Tx Beamforming approaches.
- Work with a Senior Systems engineer to select a subset for simulation.
- Make modifications to existing MATLAB simulation to bench. Include the selected algorithms.
- Run simulations and collect performance data.
- Draft descriptive design document, and presentation for discussion with the group.
- In-progress master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other related technical fields.
- Basic understanding of Statistics and Probability.
- Basic understanding of Communication Transmission Methods .
- Exposure to Linear Algebra (Eigenvectors).
- MATLAB coding experience.
- Understanding of Statistics and Probability applied to communication signal processing.
- Understanding of Physical Layer Signal Processing including optimal detection.
- Familiarity with OFDM and MIMO systems.
- Indoor air-conditioned facility
COMPENSATION
The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
