Silversheet is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer interested in a high
impact role at a rapidly growing startup. You will join a team of seasoned healthcare and
technology executives and other software engineers and will contribute to a platform with
thousands of highly engaged users around the country. You must have a strong background
in responsive web application development and a proven ability to deliver high quality work.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in the engineering organization for
one of the top funded healthcare startups in Los Angeles backed by A-List investors
including Summation Health Ventures, Upfront Ventures, Rincon Venture Partners, Slow
Ventures, and SV Angel.

What You’ll Do

  • Build highly crafted web applications and develop our enterprise solution to health care systems
  • Innovate well thought out technical design and systems architecture across services and applications
  • Estimate work effort and allocate engineering resources, enabling multiple simultaneous sprints across three functional products
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success to delivery incremental work
  • Maintain a keen focus on end-to-end platform performance
  • Define systems architecture and design, and evaluate feasibility and sustainability

Your Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • 4+ years of production web app development experience
  • Expert experience in a modern MVC framework language (Ruby on Rails is a plus)
  • Experience with all aspects of software development, deployment and maintenance
  • Understanding of both the scrum framework and agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of a front-end framework like React, Angular.js, etc.
