Our EMEA team is growing and we are looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager to join our team.This position will develop and drive high touch event programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle, and build customer intimacy. Someone who is tenacious, organised, creative and enthusiastic about delivering a great event experience while tracking ROI for events.  This is an exciting opportunity to roll your sleeves up and help scale a fast-growing events calendar across the EMEA region for Signifyd.

Reporting to the Head of EMEA Marketing, this position works to deliver new leads and brand awareness by managing Signifyd events, exhibitions and conference calendar in the UK and across Europe. You will be a good team player, working with the rest of the global marketing team to achieve our objectives. You will also have the confidence to communicate directly with the EMEA sales and client relations teams as well as senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning of the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget
  • Plan, execute, and handle all aspects of conference sponsorships and tradeshows, including coordination of logistics such as show services, catering, marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and company travel requirements
  • Work closely with speakers and panellists to prepare presentations for speaking engagements
  • Work with sales and sales leadership to develop strategy and lead execution of territory-based regional sales events such as executive dinners, webinars and roundtables.
  • Work with the EMEA Digital Marketing manager to plan and execute the pre, during, and post event nurture and engagement programs
  • Handle individual event budgets, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximising the return on investment of each event
  • Manage external vendor relationships, including briefing, resource allocation, negotiating budgets and contracts
  •  Responsibility of research, tracking and award entries 

Requirements

  • Proven experience within event marketing with a minimum of 2 years within B2B 
  • Ability to plan and deliver events to a budget
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Extremely well-organised and proactive
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Google Slides, Google Sheets) Marketo/Salesforce/Wrike/Zoom Webinar experience desirable)
  • Good communication and people skills with a can-do attitude
  • Start-up experience highly desired
  • Degree in marketing/business field is desirable
  • European language advantageous 

The role includes some out of hours working and some UK or European travel. 

All candidates must be able to travel, visa free, within Europe
