Job Summary:

 

The marketing communications manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive employer branding strategy that positions Sigmoid as an industry leader and a premier workplace for tech talent. You will work closely with HR, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to create initiatives that enhance our reputation, engage current employees, and attract highly skilled professionals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and Execute Employer Branding Strategy: Design and implement employer branding initiatives to increase the company’s visibility as a top employer in the tech industry.
  • Internal and External Communications: Craft compelling messages for various channels, including social media, employee testimonials, careers website, newsletters, and external job platforms.
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate with HR and internal teams to promote company culture, career growth opportunities, and employee value propositions through internal programs and communications.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Events: Plan and manage participation in employer branding events, such as hackathons, Tech meet-ups, university partnerships, and industry conferences.
  • Social Media and Online Presence: Develop and maintain a strong online presence by managing the company’s employer branding social media accounts e.g. Glassdoor, Instagram, and monitoring engagement metrics.
  • Performance Measurement: Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of employer branding efforts using analytics and KPIs to optimize future initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Ideal candidate shall have minimum 8 years of experience in marketing communications, recruitment marketing, or a related marketing role, preferably at Technology start-ups or IT services companies.
  • Education: MBA or a Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills across various formats (written, video, social media).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with experience in using metrics and analytics to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of the tech industry and familiarity with data engineering, analytics, or AI is a strong advantage.
  • Experience of building and managing talent communities.
