Sigma is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and data-driven storyteller to join its content marketing team. You’ll play a critical role in building the company’s inbound funnel by owning Sigma’s website and content SEO strategy, as well as support our ABM efforts by generating highly targeted marketing and sales assets.

What you’ll do

  • Research and build relevant SEO blog topic and keyword clusters using the “hub and spoke” model
  • Provide SEO keywords and insights for pages across sigmacomputing.com
  • Generate detailed outlines for SEO posts, work closely with freelancers to create this content, and edit materials to ensure they follow SEO best practices
  • Manage the production of SEO blog posts and other types of content in Wordpress and Sigma’s other production tools
  • Measure the impact of Sigma’s SEO efforts on website and blog search rankings, organic traffic, demo requests, trial sign ups, etc.
  • Research, outline, and write persona-targeted materials that fuel account based marketing campaigns, including ebooks, webinars, webpages, blog posts, videos, and more
  • Help create a content calendar and manage the scheduling and release of a steady stream of engaging top and mid-funnel SEO content
  • Collaborate closely with Sigma’s design team to visually bring content assets to life 
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts across the organization and outside partners to ensure content accuracy and maximum impact
  • Interface with Sigma customers to tell their stories via live webinars, case studies, and videos
  • Aid in amplifying content across Quora, Medium, and other key channels to drive backlinks and referral traffic

Who you are

  • Experience doing content marketing for data, analytics, and/ or BI-related companies/products
  • Proven track record of managing SEO strategies that lift organic search rankings and drive new trials/demos
  • Exceptional writer and communicator who is passionate about content marketing and telling stories with purpose
  • In-depth understanding of the B2B tech journey and the types of messages and materials needed to attract and convert potential customers across the funnel
  • Experience with key marketing stack tools including Wordpress, Google Analytics, SEMRush, HubSpot, and Go to Webinar
  • Growth mindset and excitement around owning and launching new initiatives, measuring success, and optimizing results
