Sightline Media is looking for a Reporter for Federal Times, the premiere brand covering government management and workforce. This position will include writing enterprise packages and working sources for exclusives about the IT management, tactics, and programs at both individual federal agencies as well as governmentwide, how industry is supporting government in its efforts to better leverage commercial products and expertise, and how Congress is both helping and hurting efforts to update IT systems and processes through budgeting and oversight. The Federal IT Reporter will also track the enterprise IT investments happening at the Department of Defense, and how those investments to improve Pentagon management could extend to the battlefield to support the war fighter.

They’ll have a vision for what makes a strong Federal Times Story story and will tell that story through the lens of the federal workforce .
