東京を拠点とする日本のローカライズプロデューサー、およびローカライズスペシャリストは海外で開発されたゲーム作品の日本語版制作を担い、高い評価を得た『Ghost of Tsushima』を例として、様々なタイトルのローカライズ業務を担当します。マーケティングや広報部門と連携してタイトルのプロモーション活動のサポートをしたり、ゲームトレンドや日本市場のニーズを深く理解した上で日本国内でのパブリッシングのための交渉・調整を行ったりします。

今回募集しているローカライズスペシャリストは、PlayStation Studiosが開発するゲーム作品の日本語版制作業務を担います。プロジェクトの中心となり、能動的にプロジェクトメンバーや関連部署を牽引することが求められます。

職務内容

・社内プロデューサーと協業でのローカライズ方針設定

・海外開発チームと協業でのローカライズ進行サポート

・ゲーム内テキスト翻訳、音声吹替え台本作成サポート

・社外パートナーと協業で、都内で実施する吹き替え収録サポート

・QA部門と協業での最終的なローカライズクオリティ向上と管理サポート

応募資格

<必須>

・日本語：母国語レベル以上

・英語：TOEIC850点以上、またはTOEFL500点以上

・英語を使っての交渉力

・日本語でのクリエイティブライティング能力

・作品のクオリティ向上に取り組める能力

<推奨>

・スケジュール及びアセット管理能力

・エンターテインメント業界での翻訳もしくは吹き替え台本作成の実務経験

Job Duties

Our global team, PlayStation Studios’ International Production & Localisation, work with some of the most creative and quality-driven development teams in the games industry. We are responsible for providing best in class localisation, production and publishing solutions to enable PlayStation Studios and development partners to deliver outstanding games to a global audience.

Based in Tokyo, our team of producers and localisation specialists are responsible for exceptional game localisations, like the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima. They also work closely with Marketing and PR to support promotional activities as well as providing the expert knowledge of the Japanese markets and regional sensitivities to both anticipate and mitigate regional publishing risks.

We are now looking for a Localisation Specialist to join our talented team and manage game localisation projects for PlayStation Studios releases in Japan.

Role Overview

・Setting the localization direction colaborating with the producer.

・Supporting localization management and colaborating with the development team.

・Translation and adaptation of the script/in-game text.

・Supporting voice over recording session.

・Manage and improve the final quality of Japanese localization working with Quality Assurance team.

Qalifications

・Japanese: Fluent as native language

・English: TOEIC score 850 or higher / TOEFL score 500 or higher

・Ability to negotiate in English language.

・High creative writing skill in Japanese language.

・Always make efforts to improve the quality of the localization.

・Schedule and asset management skill.

・Experience in translation or voice over script writing in the entertainment industry.

・Experience in game translation.

・Playing AAA overseas games regulary.

・Take a proactive stance in team endeavor.
