■職務内容／Job duties

＜役割＞
日本とアジアで最高の独立系ゲーム開発会社と協力して、時間と予算内で可能な限り最高の品質と成功を収めるべく、外部製品（ビデオゲーム）を探し、評価し、制作し、発売します。それらの製品の開発及び承認プロセスを、最初のコンセプトの決定または取得から最終的な商用マスタリングまで管理します。包括的で協調的なチーム文化と成長マインドセットを発展させながら、外部の開発パートナーの信頼と満足を確保します。

＜業務内容＞
ゲームの開発パスとスケジュールを定義します。
必要に応じて、ツールと制作方法について、シニアプロデューサー、XDEVのシニアディレクター、及びXDEVリーダーシップチームの他のメンバーと合意します。
成果物のマイルストーンを設定します。
マイルストーンレビューを実施し、マイルストーンの承認をラインマネージャーと合意します。
XDEVのシニアプロデューサー及びシニアディレクターにスケジュール、納期、マイルストーン、予算及びリソースの要件/変更についてアドバイスします。
チーム内に共通の焦点と方向性が存在し、外部の開発スタジオ内で伝達されるようにする責任を負います。これによりＳＩＥ内のタイトルの品質と全体的な影響の可能性を促進します。
プロジェクトの焦点または中心となるUSPが確立され、マーケティングに効果的に伝達されるようにします。
プログラミング、アート、音楽、ゲームプレイ、及び開発スタジオと開発パートナー（内部及び外部の両方）間の競合/問題を特定/解決して、ゲームが技術、スケジュール、コスト、及び品質のパラメーター内に収まるようにします。
プロダクトマネージャーと協力して、ゲームが期待に一致し、最大の潜在的な露出を達成するようにします。
ゲームの開発に使用される制作方法を指示/開始します。
必要に応じて、設計ドキュメントをシニアプロデューサー、XDEVのシニアディレクター、XDEVリーダーシップチームの他のメンバーと合意し、時間、品質、及びコストのパラメーター内で提供します。
タイトルが最新のQAガイドラインに適合し、QAが関連する全てのプロジェクト関連の問題を理解していること、そしてQAプロセスが可能な限り効果的かつ効率的に実行されていることを確認します。

＜PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE＞
Collaborate with the best independent game developers in Japan and in Asia to seek out, evaluate,produce and release external products (video games) to the highest possible quality and success,on time and on budget. Manage the development and approval process of those products frominitial concept decision or acquisition through to fi nal commercial mastering. Ensure externaldevelopment partners trust and satisfaction, while developing an inclusive and collaborative teamculture and a growth mindset.

＜Duties and Responsibilities＞
Defi nes the development path & schedule for the game.
Agrees tools and production methodologies with the Senior Producer, Senior Director of XDEV,and other members of the XDEV leadership team, as required.
Sets deliverable milestones.
Conducts milestone reviews and agrees milestone sign off with line manager.
Advises Senior Producer and Senior Director of XDEV of the schedule, delivery dates, milestones,budgetary and resource requirements/changes.
Takes responsibility for ensuring that a common focus and direction exist within the team andare communicated within the external development studio. This must drive the quality and theoverall impact potential of the title within SIE.
Ensures the project focus or central USP is established and eff ectively communicated tomarketing.
Identifi es/resolves confl icts/issues between programming, art, music, gameplay, as well asbetween development studio and development partners (both internal and external) to ensurethat the game remains within technical, schedule, cost and quality parameters.
Collaborates with Product Manager to ensure game matches expectations and achievesmaximum potential exposure.
Directs/initiates production methodologies to be used in delivering the game.
Agrees design document with Senior Producer, Senior Director of XDEV, and other members ofthe XDEV leadership team, as required, and delivers it within time, quality and cost parameters.
Ensures title meets with up to date QA guidelines, that QA understand all relevant projectrelated issues, and that QA process is executed as eff ectively and as effi ciently as possible.
Ensures that major project milestones are reported as correctly as possible on developmentrelated reports and that any milestone movements or budget changes are reported to the SeniorProducer, the Senior Director of XDEV or other members of the XDEV leadership team, asrequired, as soon as possible.
Drive clarity and visibility with the external developers and internally by developing andmaintaining a solid relationship, frequent communications and team liaison with externaldevelopers.
Can execute eff ective presentation of title, feature and product direction to development andmarketing.
Handles translations of strategic/key documents as required.
