About the Role

You'll play a key role in addressing some of the company's most critical challenges. The frontend team values ownership of the code throughout the product lifecycle. We're looking for someone with a solid grasp of software design patterns and architectural principles, who also considers non-functional requirements like performance and usability in their solutions.

What You'll Do 

  • Writes thoroughly tested and reviewed code towards new features and enhancements to the existing application  
  • Actively involved in both submitting and reviewing code peer requests  
  • Actively participates in discussions around coding conventions and standards, including sharing opinions about the latest technology related topics via internal tech talk  
  • Builds thoughtful modules and components, reuse, and compatibility with the existing architecture  
  • Collaborates with team members, including engineers on the frontend, backend, QA and DevOps during the entire development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality code to production every release

What You'll Bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in software design and development 
  • 3+ years in JavaScript Framework programming using React/Redux 
  • Experience in CSS, Tailwind, Atomic Design, Git, Redux Tool Kit (RTK), and React Testing Library 
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns 
  • Strong analytical and technical ability 
  • Effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical team members 
  • Excellent communicator who can articulate technical design trade-offs with team members
  • Bachelor's Degree

Sidecar Health adopts a market-based approach to compensation, where base pay varies depending on location and is further influenced by job-related skills and experience. The current expected salary range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000.
