About the Job

Over 1,600 partners trust SIDEARM to drive their fan engagement platforms including official athletic websites, mobile applications, ticketing and more. In addition, Paciolan, Learfield’s official ticketing platform, and is integrated within SIDEARM and is the leader in college athletics regarding consumer ticketing and fundraising.  As such, we're looking for a skilled digital analyst to ensure SIDEARM’s suite of custom digital products is being effectively measured and optimized using the latest digital analytics software. The Digital Analyst will serve as the on-site expert for both web and mobile analytics, managing sophisticated GA360 and GA4 implementations as well as assisting partners in crafting individualized analytics strategies across the Learfield enterprise. The Analyst will work to deliver business insights, effectively communicate findings, and simplify complex data into easy-to-understand reports for both internal and external audiences.    

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead analyst for SIDEARM’s GA360 implementation - continually monitoring, identifying, and resolving issues and data gaps, as well as maintaining accuracy and reliability.  
  • Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards within GA360, GA4, and Looker Studio, to provide actionable insights for partners, marketing teams, leadership, and executives. 
  • Translate data into clear recommendations and visualizations to enhance data-driven decision-making at the highest levels. 
  • Develop and execute Tag Management strategy using Google Tag Manager (GTM) to efficiently deploy and manage tracking codes, pixels, and third-party scripts across the vast network of SIDEARM websites and applications.  
  • Oversee and maintain the Consent Management Platform, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and user consent preferences. Perform dynamic application security scans. 
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple business units to integrate web analytics data with other data sources (CRM, email marketing, etc.) creating a single source of truth and more complete customer views. 
  • Serve as subject matter expert by following industry trends, researching, and evaluating new technologies in web analytics and consent management to ensure our practices are modern and compliant.  
  • Manage key relationships by assisting clients in better utilizing web and mobile application analytics to drive their business objectives.  Serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for a team of digital analytics consultants. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, digital marketing, information management, or related field.
  • 2+ years proven experience working with web analytics tools at scale such as GA360, GA4, or similar applications.  
  • Experience working with Google Tag Manager or similar application, in implementing and maintaining advertising, and analytics tags at scale. 
  • Strong understanding of web analytics methodologies, including event tracking, custom dimensions, and data layer implementation.  
  • Solid understanding of consent management tools, process, and litigation surrounding user consent such as CCPA and GDPR.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, etc. as well as advanced reporting capabilities within Google Analytics. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion and commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility.

 

You will impress us if you have: 

  • Expertise in implementing and managing Consent Management Platforms (e.g., Transcend, OneTrust, or TrustArc).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for tag customization and troubleshooting.

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
