Title: Senior Software Engineer, Backend, Brand Platform

Location: Remote

LTK’s mission is to empower the world’s premium lifestyle Creators to achieve maximum economic success. We have a huge opportunity ahead of us and we’re looking for team members who want to create, innovate and disrupt an industry.  We empower our team members to drive innovation, create value, and continue to spearhead the creation of this industry — a game changer when it comes to career growth.

About you:

You're looking for a career where you'll be able to build, to deliver, and to impress. You look at problems holistically, and want to work on projects where you are implementing solutions to real problems that require creative solutions and deep understanding of the problem space. You challenge yourself and your team to constantly come up with simpler and better solutions to complex problems. You have expertise in building large-scale web applications and systems. You love challenges and working on complex customer facing projects. You recognize the importance of aligning technical decisions with the business objectives and can effectively communicate with stakeholders.

About us together:

We're going to change the way that Creators collaborate with Brands to maximize their economic success. Along the way, we're going to face seemingly impossible problems. We're going to argue about how to solve them, and we'll work together to find a solution that is superior to each of the proposals we came in with. We'll make tough decisions, but we'll all understand why. We'll be the dream team.

The ideal Senior Engineer for this role will have a strong programming and problem-solving background. You primarily work with Go, or you have demonstrated experience in other languages. Your deep understanding of software development principles and best practices empowers you to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you have the knowledge and expertise to make significant and independent contributions to the team. You serve as a resource to unblock and enable the entire team, and you excel at scoping and staging work into well-defined epics to avoid monolithic deliverables. Your curiosity and dedication to excellence drive you to constantly research and lead the adoption of new systems and technologies. As a member of an agile scrum team, you actively think about process improvements and contribute to discussions to enhance team efficiency. You adjust well to shifting priorities and consistently push the team forward. With a strong sense of ownership, you take complete responsibility for your area, team, and services.

Some problem spaces we'll be working on:

SOCIAL MEDIA INTEGRATIONS - Integrating social media performance data from various platforms is becoming increasingly essential in the realm of Creator marketing. This offers exciting challenges and opportunities for LTK. Consolidating data across popular social media platforms requires designing robust and scalable systems that can handle large volumes of data. Ensuring data accuracy and reliability becomes crucial for analysis and reporting of social media performance metrics. We will develop innovative solutions, leveraging API integrations and data processing techniques, to extract insights from the integrated data that can enhance collaborations between Creators and Brands on our platform. This places us at the forefront of social media performance analytics, contributing to the evolving landscape of Creator marketing and driving impactful results for clients.

INFRASTRUCTURE - the need for data in LTK is not limited to the Brand Platform, so this candidate will need to guide us as we develop infrastructure that is extensible to support the entire company. Our development will primarily be focused on our needs, but will be done in such a way that other teams across LTK can easily create plug-ins or adaptors to safely ingest any form of structured data. Some of the existing products that our infrastructure must support are our Brand reporting and Marketplace products. We’ll not stop there as our infrastructure must enable our teams to featurize our data and, from there, create ML models that are predictive of the Brand and Creator goals.

DATA - we need to become great with data, starting with integrations with all Social Media and Influencer platforms, but quickly extending to satisfy our thirst for data. We’ll look for new ways to interpret the data that we have, on platform and that we ingest from third parties, with an aim to tease out new learnings that differentiate LTK from our competitors. We’ll want to provide real value to Brands and Creators alike and we believe that we’ll get there by excelling with data. We know that we need to develop new muscles with Machine Learning and AI. We'll know when we’re done when Brand performance uncertainty is a distant memory.

How you will make an impact:

  • Technical Expertise: Possess deep knowledge and proficiency in your primary language, whether it’s Go or another language, enabling you to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
