Job Description:

  • Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
  • Find, engage and attract passive candidates through a wide range of search techniques and channels
  • Build and execute on both a short, medium and even long term pipeline strategy for a dedicated pipeline of talents
  • Track pipeline activity to share and present insights with Recruiters and hiring managers
  • Provide a positive candidate experience as the first point of contact with passive candidates
  • Conduct preliminary pitching call with the potential passive candidates to introduce Shopee and the career opportunity with them
  • Recommend and drive improvements that impact sourcing effectiveness


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma holder, open to fresh graduate
  • Relevant sourcing experience, ideally within a search firm or in-house recruiting team, is preferred
  • Familiar with tech talent market in multiple countries is preferred, such as Singapore, China, Southeast Asia, U.S. and Europe
  • Familiar with talent sourcing channels and Boolean search techniques is preferred, such as LinkedIn and localized channels in different countries
  • Data driven mindset to get both quantitative and qualitative insights about talent market
  • Proficient with excel formulas to work around data and reports
  • A good team player to partner with recruiters, hiring managers and coordinators on sourcing and recruiting 
  • Comfortable to work under a number driven and fast paced environment
