Job Description:

Your responsibility as a Budgeting and Planning in ShopeePay will include but are not limited to:

  • Crafting overall transaction, cost, and user target in a yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis for Offline Payment, Online 3rd Party etc
  • Running the process from end-to-end from budget allocation, budget approval, to monitoring and budget optimization
  • Summarize key business activities relative to team’s spending and report to senior management, provide key insights from the previous month spending, and propose initiatives to improve spending efficiency on a monthly basis
  • Conduct budget process improvement to derive the best workflows internally and across departments to ensure best productivity with minimal time spent on manual tasks


  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields with 2+ years of experience are an advantage
  • Able to analyse and synthesize quantitative data such as business KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and different types of budget numbers, and able to translate it into a meaningful business interpretation
  • Strong stakeholders management and communication skills
  • Outstanding structural thinking skills, with ability to manage the project in a methodical manner, and able to prioritize tasks
  • Self-driven with willingness to learn and improve, able to take full ownership, initiate, set direction, and drive the project towards successful completion
  • Fluent in English, Proficient in Excel; Having other technical skills (SQL, Python, R language) is a plus
