Introduction

Shopee is currently growing its business across the region and will be expanding the Product Risk Management team to help drive the sustainability and reliability of its products/solutions. The team is responsible for shaping the working process and managing the end-to-end product risks – from product design, product development to product operations for all businesses across Southeast Asia.

Job Description

  • Work closely with multi-function teams across Southeast Asia to verify compliance with established internal controls and guideline
  • Identify risks in operations and work with business teams to improve processes
  • Refine internal controls and guidelines from a risk management perspective
  • Facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings gleaned from audits and incident reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering or a related field highly preferable
  • 1+ years of experience with audit highly preferable
  • Strong logical thinking and communications skills, to be able to develop accurate understanding of local processes and communicate findings clearly 
  • Self-driven, positive attitude and team player striving for team success
  • Willing to travel to Southeast Asia offices after Covid situation improves
  •  Fluency in English; Fluency in Mandarin would be a plus in order to work with counterparts based in China
