Shopee Express is an integrated Logistics service by Shopee with nationwide delivery coverage. As an Automation Engineer, you will be working with the Operation team on automation initiatives, including automatic sorting machine, processes, and systems.

Job Description:

  • Lead or assist in design specification, design documentation, planning, testing, and execution for automation projects
  • Together with the Operations team, come up with new initiatives for process improvement
  • Conduct analysis for project feasibility and cost estimates
  • Develop or work together with vendor(s) to come up with preliminary design, GUI, and system requirements
  • Train & support the team
  • Communication and coordination with team members both internally and externally
  • Envision strategy for Shopee Express Operations team

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education and background (Mechatronics Engineering would be a plus)
  • Have around 5-10 years working experience, preferable in the Express Logistics and/or Automation Sortation field
  • Proficient in CAD and/or 3D engineering software, such as AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Familiar with PLC control system, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent analytical skills and able to make judgement based on logical reasons
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quick learning, adaptive and flexible
