Job Description

  • Assisting in the management of Logistics contracts, including tracking of status and following through on actions from PICs to ensure agreements are documented and finalized according to set timelines
  • Ensuring contract stipulations are properly communicated to all internal stakeholders for alignment and implementation
  • Gathering operational and financial data from PICs relevant to negotiations with partners
  • Identifying opportunities for engagements and improvements that will result in positive business impact
  • Maintain Logistics Contract Tracker and proactively monitor status, push PICs for required actions, and identify potential issues that may cause delays

  • Assist in following up actions required from stakeholders to ensure that delays are avoided and identified early
  • Gather and prepare data relevant to negotiations, and assist in assessing business impact of items being negotiated
  • Prepare presentations and data sheets for stakeholders in order to aid in sound decision-making
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for improvements

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years work experience in a similar role, similar industry an advantage but not required
  • If with less work experience, must have additional credentials relevant to the role
  • Strong analytical skills, with an understanding of operational systems relevant to logistics and transportation industry
  • Self-starter, can work with minimal supervision, high drive for learning with potential to grow in the company
  • Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented
  • Intermediate skills in computer applications, particularly MS Office and GSuite
