More specifically, thanks to AI technology, we have been building the customer service chatbots to automatically answer customers’ questions and solve their problems and concerns. Being the first contact point for the customers when they need help, the chatbot product becomes part of customers' e-commerce experience that Shopee takes very seriously, therefore we are expanding the team to build next generation products.

Job Description:

  • As product owner, he/she drives the end-to-end product development of Chatbot features, from ideation, system design and development, to post-launch improvements and feature iterations.
  • Conduct market research and competitor studies to identify opportunities, gaps and areas of improvement for our solutions.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timeline. Develop detailed project plans and execute the plan step by step, as well as manage project risks.
  • Work with the business team closely and deliver features which are in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Work with the team to deliver holistic Chatbot solutions, including but not limited to Chatbot, Chatbot management systems, like annotation & training system, knowledge base, chat flow design tool, Chatbot dashboard functionalities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable education institution. Preferably major in Computer Science, or a related applied quantitative field, or commercial experience in building AI applications in lieu.
  • Both junior and senior product management roles are available.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, sensitive to data, and applied data-driven product design methodology.
  • Effectively communicate complex business and technical information with different audiences verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and understanding about the current development of NLP and deep learning technologies.
  • Understanding or experience with customer service call centers, or at least 1 years experiences in managing Omni-channel products such as Livechat / Chatbot, will be a plus.
  • Experience with the SaaS application design and roll out is a plus.
  • Prior product management experience or domain knowledge in one of the following is a plus: Chatbot or other commercial NLP applications, machine learning, user behaviour, data analytics, model building and evaluation metrics.
  • Conversational in Mandarin in order to collaborate with counterparts from China is a plus.
  • Self-driven, positive attitude and team player.
