Job Description:

  • Lead a team of merchant acquisition executives and ensuring that aggressive sales targets are achieved
  • Lead negotiations with key partners
  • Resourceful in identifying new merchants (restaurants, cafes, hobby shops, etc.) to acquire, expanding the range of offerings for our customers
  • Continuously building and updating target lists for sales, identifying the priority restaurants/companies in line with the strategy of the company
  • Continuously maintain a strong relationship with brands/merchants
  • Gathering intelligence on competitors and producing analysis out of that research
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive usage and awareness for key brands

Requirements: 

  • Experience in managing a sales team
  • Experience working for an e-commerce/ e-wallet/ payments company
  • Extensive network of contacts with major brands
  • Excellent command in English and Malay
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin will be an added advantage
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to identify issues, assess risks and offer solutions
  • Willing to travel
