This position will drive data-centric projects that play a critical role in driving business improvement and transformation in the Operation department using a mix of project management and data analysis skills.

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses, monitors operational KPIs across the region, and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

  • Use Excel, SQL or PYTHON, in-House tools to perform data analyses, generate insights from analyses
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on tasks that need to be done between departments
  • Design initiatives using analytical and conceptual problem solving to improve selling and buying experiences at Shopee
  • Create slides and presentation to present your findings
  • Identify risks regarding changes and develop a plan to address them
  • Evaluate the success of any adjustments made within the organization and present any findings
  • Writing scripts and tools to automate/facilitate business processes


  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields or a relevant field (e.g. Computer Sci, Engineering) of study or up to 3 years’ experience
  • Experience working with one or more language for querying (e.g. SQL, PYTHON)
  • Ability to make inferences from data and devise appropriate course of actions
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and numbers
  • Great problem solving skills. Able to contribute ideas in group discussion
  • Good communication skills - able to communicate clearly and concisely (Thai and English)
  • Good time management skills and ability to multitask
