Introduction
Shopee is currently growing its business across the region and will be expanding the Risk Management team to help drive the sustainability and reliability of its products/solutions. The team is responsible for shaping the working process and managing the end-to-end product risks – risk identification, assessment and mitigation for all businesses across Southeast Asia.
Job Description
- Establish and implement the central risk governance processes from solution design, development and operations across teams
- Work closely with multi functions, facilitate and contribute to risk identification and mitigation processes by providing independent perspectives and risk management methodology
- Coordinate multi stakeholders from product, engineering and operations teams to ensure the implementation of the mitigation plans
- Document properly the process for knowledge accumulation as input / feedback for future product iterative cycle
- Share best practices and learning among different teams to enhance the overall risk management capability and mindset
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable institution, major in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field would be highly preferable
- 2-5 years’ experience in IT/Tech, consulting or a relevant industry, functional experience in product management or risk management will be a plus
- Fluent in English; Bilingual with Chinese would be a plus to deal with stakeholders from different regions
- Strong skills in communication and personal impact, be able to work effectively with multi stakeholders
- Self-driven, positive attitude and team player striving for team success
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changes in a fast-paced environment
