Job description: 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Shopee ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop strategic product feedback and positioning for Shopee users (both buyers and sellers)
  • Identify process automation opportunities, and translate into tooling requirements and roadmaps
  • Identify significant long-term opportunities based on research, analysis and a strategic view of the direction of the market
  • Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting seller-facing programs and effective product launch support
  • Lead market and product assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback with a focus on e-commerce seller and advertising solutions
  • Assess and Communicate the value proposition of new products to all cross-functional team and ensure that effective sales support materials and packages are created
  • Measure success through qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Predict roadblocks and obstacles, establishing integration points between teams

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years work experience
  • 2+ years experience at a strategy consulting firm, investment bank or working directly on e-commerce (e.g. consumer technology, online marketplace, e-commerce company)
  • Demonstrated experience driving strategic analysis to influence product and business decisions
  • Experience in analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational processes
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Quantitative analytical experience
  • Experience synthesizing analysis and communicating concepts
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Experience with marketing process management, workflow, and life cycle management
  • Experience in process and operations improvement
