Job Description: 

  • Develop original content ideas for Shopee Youtube videos as aligned with video marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership and partners to develop overall programming strategy and video series
  • Analyze pre-existing content, content strategy for opportunities to optimize content and programming strategy
  • Develop original creative strategy, designs, and video concepts and plans for established or upcoming content 
  • Work with a video editor to fine tune the edit once the shoot is completed
  • Partner with SEO team to ensure videos receive maximum discoverability for organic views as well as optimize, package, and tag video content for digital distribution
  • Accurately forecast time and resource needs, and consistently meet project deadlines and milestones by working quickly, strategically, and efficiently
  • Brainstorm ideas and work with team to prototype concepts (mood boards, mockups, animatics, and shows)
  • Guide and monitor traffic analysis and contribute coverage plans based on data insights
  • Translate marketing/social data and use research to make strategic creative improvements to content and programs, while still knowing when to take creative risks
  • Develop new content output channels and grow them as effective community resources

 
Requirements

  • 4-7 years experience working with media, television, digital media and/or video
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, Film, or related fields
  • Well-rounded portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to lead video content creation across platforms supporting multiple product categories and marketing strategies
  • Experience in creative series development and growing YouTube channel
  • Working knowledge of the various short form/social media platforms and best practices of content storytelling on these platforms
  • An eye for detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to shift priorities and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and a commitment to producing high-quality, high-performing content
