Job Description

  • Calculate daily,  weekly, monthly, and quarterly required capacity of the whole middle mile network, considering current and future hub expansions, hub distances from sorting center, vehicle capacity, trippage, fuel, toll, and other costs
  • Regularly checks-in and coordinates for forecast updates from the Shopee Logistics team
  • Plans the allocation per vendor resulting to optimal cost and performance
  • Monitors and reviews vendor capacity and performance vs expectations with linehaul management and inter-island teams
  • Creates case studies and ad hoc analyses that will impact the middle mile network
  • Develop reports and dashboards to monitor the cost and efficiency of the network
  • Work closely with the First Mile, Sorting Center, Expansions, Partnerships, and Last Mile teams in aligning the periodic capacity plans
  • Drive process improvements and assess complete root cause analysis of any defects in the flow of operations 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar courses plus 1-2 years of Logistics Experience- preferably with a transportation planning role in an e-commerce environment
  • Strong communication skills. Able to clearly define complex thoughts in writing. Able to adjust communication style and level of detail to flex between senior executives through front line associates
  • Excellent critical thinker and problem solver
  • Demonstrated examples of process improvement and KPI measurement and reporting
