Job Description:

  • Developing potential B2C ocean freight service providers and related processes
  • Negotiating with service providers about projects and processes
  • Drive end-to-end integration of new third-party logistics, negotiate competitive rate, better delivery service level agreement to reduce overall platform shipping cost
  • Evaluate logistics projects for cost optimisation, competitive service, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting and executing of key decisions with direct impact on costing, allocation strategy, operational excellence, and strategic partners
  • Analysing and monitoring Cross-Border logistics performance
  • Supporting or managing new projects and new channels release
  • Engage all related stakeholders to balance shortfalls in third-party logistic invoice checks, continuous improvement on standard operating procedure within Logistics to manage claims (damages, losses, and service level agreement breaches)

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree and strong academic record, relevant academic background preferred
  • 2+ years of related working experience in cross border ecommerce logistics or forwarding business
  • Must have ocean freight experience (B2C ocean freight will be preferred)
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and manage timeline and priorities effectively
  • Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving skills
  • Agile mindset and willingness to adapt to change to meet business goals
  • Must be a good team player, positive attitude and eager to learn
  • Have a deep understanding of the cross border e-commerce and its logistics flow
