Job Description:

  • Manage seller acquisition team 
  • Responsible for acquiring high value sellers to join and start selling on Shopee
  • Responsible for acquiring walk-in & offline sellers to join and start selling on Shopee
  • Create opportunities for platform growth by identifying new avenues for seller acquisitions
  • Conceptualise, execute and track new initiatives to acquire new sellers for Shopee
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison for new sellers
  • Consistently meet KPIs
  • Create presentations and updates
  • Supports new sellers with onboarding and incubation after acquisition 
  • Provide market insights from seller's' perspective, including understanding products, sellers, market & competitor dynamics

Requirements:

  • Has at least 5 years people management/ leadership experience (experience from e-commerce platform is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strategic thinking on how to acquire new sellers
  • Driven, motivated and hungry
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Go-getter attitude
  • Must be flexible to conduct seller visits in different locations
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is a plus
