Job Description:

  • Work with the business to maintain the payments pipeline, managing day-to-day responsibilities such as monitoring & researching the cause of payment declines, daily reconciling of payment processing statements for multiple high volume and monthly assessments of payment card fees
  • Analyze daily and monthly reporting to present to various areas of the business and to create strategies & continually focus on interchange and process optimization
  • Be an internal SME in e-commerce payments processing to assist in solving daily payments issues creatively and effectively
  • Partner with Product and Technical teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities for payments and payment channel integration optimization
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and other business teams to ensure optimal payment acceptance practices.
  • Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to influence decisions and new payments initiatives
  • Execute initiatives focused on reducing payment costs and redundancies
  • Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
  • People management & develop proper workforce management

Requirements:

  • Proven track record, with 4+ years related experience in payment operations (e-commerce or e-Wallet preferred). Passion in the e-commerce industry is a must
  • Proven track record, with at least 1 in people management role
  • Strong understanding of payment card brand rules and regulations, the payments acceptance process and systems involved in the process, basic product awareness of the technical payment process
  • Strategic thinker capable of presenting to and driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment
  • Ability to research a subject and present finding in a clear and concise manner
  • Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of SQL and Power Query
  • Proactive, energetic, fast pace, meticulous
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
