Job Description:

  • Responsible for the whole product cycle (planning, researching, designing, developing, and implementing) of data science products
  • Lead product planning meetings and prioritization of product timelines 
  • Manage the end to end process including requirement understanding, research and analysis, product roadmap planning, feature design, and continuous optimization of user experience
  • Understand the business needs and pain points of users to design
  • Optimize metrics, visual presentation, and data models
  • Initiate new and experimental modeling metrics 
  • Manage product specs creation process and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders
  • Work closely with business, engineering, and design teams to drive timely product development and launch
  • Ensure product performance stability after launch
  • Deliver high-quality Product Requirements Document (PRD) and user manual



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics or other related fields
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning (Strong understanding of model building and evaluation metrics is a must)
  • At least 3 years experience in data science and/or data product management
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, communication, and writing skills
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams and manage timeline and priorities effectively
  • Ability to drive product development and enhancement in order to meet business goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Enjoys creating experimental models and implementing new metrics
  • Flexibility to learn new skills and knowledge  
  • Deep understanding and strong interest of the data products and e-commerce business
