As our Content Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time), you’ll support the Auctane Content team in researching, drafting, writing, and proofreading blog posts, web content, and print/digital marketing assets for four innovative, tech brands (ShipStation, ShipEngine, ShippingEasy, and ShipWorks). You’ll have a chance to build out engaging and eye-catching materials that span across various digital channels every day.
This position is a part-time role (30 hours or less).
Responsibilities:
Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
Think creatively and develop new content, ads, and other marketing materials
Complete a high volume of production tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work closely with Content Manager to support your efforts
Work as part of a marketing team with a wide range of visual content needs
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or currently in progress) in a Marketing, Journalism or English Major preferred or equivalent experience
Experience with WordPress
Familiarity with writing for both B2B and B2C audiences
Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Skills and Knowledge:
Proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, highly creative, and a strong attention to detail
Entrepreneurial spirit, interest in ecommerce, and an excitement for the start-up
Interest in learning more about digital content strategy
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
