Their primary role is to develop business for the company in the area by building a referral network and establishing market relationships, and developing/managing a sales team of Solutions Specialists. The Local Manager’s duty is to coach and mentor the sales team, and support the Regional Manager as needed. They are also responsible for supporting the team by fielding escalations, motivating, and monitoring activity.
Responsibilities
- Developing a referral network with hospitality professionals who are currently working in or around the restaurant industry. (Vendors, Managers, Suppliers, Influencers, Etc.)
- Part of the building process in the area will be to initiate your own sales from company supplied leads, network referrals and direct prospecting
- Mastery of CRM and Sales Process, Product knowledge of Skytab System and Shift4 Ecosystem
- Responsible for building and managing a high performance sales team. You will be coaching, assisting,and directing sales personnel. This includes in the field visits and weekly plan reviews
- Participate in local or regional marketing events, customer events and trade shows. ● Ensure the accomplishment of sales goals through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and rewards
- While training and holding a sales team accountable to a quota, the Local Manager may also need to meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies and establishing personal networks ● Plan for the achievement of individual and team targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company
- Reports team KPIs to the Regional Manager
- Reinforce objectives for the sales team by forecasting and enforcing sales quotas for personnel
- Supports the company culture by continual reinforcement of the Shift4 Way
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset to develop and build business
- 5+ years in the restaurant industry with management experience
- Must have knowledge of point of sale systems, including cloud-based
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Performance management

- Public Speaking/presentation skills
- Proficiency of Google Suite or similar tools
