Solutions Architect, ERP System

 

This role can be based at any of the following Shift4 locations: Tampa, FL / Las Vegas, NV / Center Valley, PA (headquarters) Remote based work may be considered in certain situations. Relocation assistance may be provided.

As the Solutions Architect, ERP Systems, you will play a leading role in the design of the future state supply chain tech experience. This will include scaling our existing ERP environment, integration with core systems such as our new CRM to developing a sleek front end interfaces using cutting edge technologies. Throughout the mission, we expect you to be a steward of the Shift4 Way - make bold decisions, pursue excellence, take ownership of all that you do and build trust with your stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across Shift4 such as finance, supply chain, sales, legal, and marketing and to understand existing and future needs to related to Shift4’s supply chain operations
  • Drive technical decision making  using First Principles thinking; challenge stakeholders to remove parts throughout the design phase to keep with our goals of efficiency and maximum productivity
  • Develop and maintain all relevant documentation such as process workflows, technical specifications / designs, requirements, etc. 
  • Partner with the Enterprise Operations Experience Manager to develop the transformation program roadmap 
  • Own the technical documentation and development of system architecture design to manage data flows, synchronizations, warehouse processes, and functional requirements for Shift4’s ERP systems. 
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure proper system interactions, business process workflows, and make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Serve as a voice of guidance throughout the build / configuration process; provide oversight during testing / QA to ensure product alignment with architecture designs and goals and delivery of high quality products
  • Present to senior executives on solution design, product vision, and delivery roadmap as needed 
  • Assist in the development of KPIs and OKRs to assess performance of new processes and technologies 
  • Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement; assess performance and productivity of deployed capabilities technologies to ensure goals are being met, identify opportunities for iterative improvements, etc.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of developing ERP solutions in highly technical field 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, etc). 
  • Strong background in facilitating of workshops / design sessions; establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project’s life cycle and experience providing direction to resources and vendors.
  • Experience in a structured operational environment with standard operating procedures and concept of operations (CONOPs) definitions. You have been a primary contributor to one of these environments, and have led and trained new incoming individuals into it.
  • Ability to create highly technical documentation, consolidate that information into presentations or one-pagers, and properly communicate technical details in a consumable way to executive leadership. 
  • Experience analyzing complex systems, decomposing them into graphical or other visual representations, analyzing them, and defining operational deviations. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a relevant technical field
  • In-depth knowledge of technical languages such as Python; ability to perform data analysis using SQL
  • Experience with integrating multiple software systems through APIs, or performing large implementations of new software systems (such as an ERP, Salesforce, or other type of graphical user interface)
  • Personal experience  building and managing data pipelines, developing ETL processes, and managing data warehouses. 
  • Experience with operational fundamentals such as corrective action reporting, non-conformances, inventory management, and data governance.
  • Strong collaborative skills with business, IT and external stakeholders; ability to lead discussions with resources across all levels and departments to ensure proper technical strategy development
  • Personally led a major project from inception to integration
  • Experience with one of the following platforms: Palantir Foundry, Mulesoft, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce
