The Sales Manager will own and drive continuous improvements in sales and business metrics through coaching and mentoring front line field sellers. This role will leverage data driven leadership and coaching methodology and provide ongoing and frequent interaction with the field sales team to ensure optimal performance including 1:1’s, ride alongs and follow up shadowing. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving high efficiency. This is a hands-on role, and it will partner with operations to build and operate mechanisms to ensure sales schedules are optimized, customer experience excellence is maintained and outcomes are achieved. The Sales Manager will interact with all parts of operations, and executive level business leadership on innovative ways to improve our sales costs and overall business metrics.
What You Will Do:
- Successfully manages sales objectives
- Partners with Executive Leadership and Sales Operations to develop, monitor, and adjust sales goals (financial/budgets and volumes) to achieve sales objectives.
- Monitors sales and profitability to ensure strategic goals are being met.
- Proactively develops action plans to correct performance in order to consistently meet sales goals and revenue targets.
- Creates development plans for the sales team to continuously improve performance against metrics to meet or exceed their goals.
- Works closely with team members to establish their weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
- Leads day to day operations of a team of delivery operations associates at an assigned location in executing against assigned Hub KPIs, goals, and objectives.
- Understand operational needs, report them to senior leadership and formulate solutions.
- Manage escalations and make real-time decisions around market performance and processes.
- Responsible for meeting key metrics such as; quality, cost and other KPIs as determined by the leadership team.
- Directs all hub opening and closing procedures.
- Manages ordering of necessary hub supplies in partnership with facilities lead.
- Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- Consultative sales experience required
- A minimum of (5) years in position of Sales Management or similar positions
- Automotive Finance & Insurance experience desired
- Valid Driver's License in applicable state (or ability to obtain upon relocation) and a good driving record is required
- Experience in establishing action plans to drive performance of sales
- Effective communication
- Ability to motivate, inspire and get buy-in from others
- Flexibility to provide cover for store opening hours, including evenings and weekends
Compensation:
- Up to $70,000 base/year + $20,000 bonus target
